string patterns

    guys why does different rackets have to use different patterns ? while the rackets shape are just the same pls share your knowledge and educate me . thank u very much for all your time.

    I use the Yonex out and in string pattern (9main to 11 main to finish off at 10 main) because it reduces stress at about 10 and 2 oclock where people tend to clash rackets and break'em.

    And many new rackets have different number and/or location of holes. Therefore, the traditional string pattern may not work on such ones. ;)

    Indeed, the new patterns are designed foremost to reduce stress on the racket - the single-pass grommets at 2 o'clock on the Arcsabers, for example, replace three large holes with six small ones, thereby supposedly making the frame less likely to break there.
