Hi, I was wondering if there are different method of stringing for different model of Yonex racquets? E.g Yonex MP vs Nanospeed vs Arcsaber Z-slash.

But as a stringer, do they really follow the methodology? I mean i know nuts abt stringing so i handover the stringing to the shop to handle, but end of the day, i wouldnt know whether they string it the right way or not also?

Professional stringers should have the stringing patterns from the manufacturers so yes they should be following the suggested stringing pattern.

Agreed. Otherwise it would be stupid. For example, if a stringer used the classic standard stringing pattern on a YY Arc10. It wont work, because the Arc10 uses non-shared grommets.

that's when you can tell a good stringer from a bad one!

well, it's YOUR racket, and you will have to know more about it, including stringing pattern. Otherwise, your racket can get damaged by a bad stringer.

+1......when encountering an unfamiliar racquet, a good stringer SHOULD look up the pattern either from the manufacturer or a reputable guide (eg. the USRSA stringing pattern "bible").
