We all know that Yonex is a leader and trendsetter in racket design. With the popularity of many models e.g. Ti-8, Ti-10, SP900, other manufacturers copied them but at half the price. Are their qualities as good as the real thing?
I used to use a Fleet Ti-99 which is a copy of the Yonex Ti-7. I'm not sure whats different about it. Its much more flexible and lighter. The sweetspot seems to be smaller as well
YEah, but it has its good points. Good for doubles where the Yonex Ti-7 is better for singles. The power of this Fleet Ti-99 is quite good actually when you hit it right.
A few of us have just tried out the Yang Yang Titanium Mesh Tit-11, an all-rounder professional racket equivalent to Yonex Ti-8, exact copy in design and color but has real titanium mesh inside the shaft. You can see the transparent mesh. The shaft seems to be pretty strong. Nobody is complaining at that kind of price. It's a pretty fast and light racket at 3UG2.
