Thread: Stringing "Special" Tensions
04-25-2010, 05:14 PM #35
Don't worry, my Trixon 8 imploded on its own about 3 weeks ago. Definitely do NOT recommend it at all.
Plus it played funny after a while. Definitely would warn against it.

It should like that after you stringing it, at least at 12 and 6 clock.
Are the 6/12 supports still touching the frame?
If "no", then you've added too much for the crosses and the frame has stretched N/S.
How much resistance is there when you release the 6/12 supports?
If the answer is "lots" then you need to add more for the crosses - the frame has contracted lengthways and is pulling on the 6/12s; if the answer is "a tiny bit" then you've hit the bullseye and kept the original frame shape.
