What kinds of foods are beneficial to the game of badminton? What do I eat to gear up for a badminton match? What about long tournaments like Cupertino? I was actually there 14 hours and didn't really eat well. Also, what kind of drills to enhance endurance and speed? Thanks for the replies!

You'd have to talk to a nutritionist about this. It varies from person to person due to physicallity and activeness. There are so many factors I can name off. I eat 3000 cals a day of foods, mostly protein and low in fats and carbohydrates. My body mass index is roughly 32, but my body fat index is roughly 13. If you want to enhance endurance, try jogging or running up stairs many times. I know a lot of national players that do that. When you're at a tournament, make sure to bring light carbohydrate packed foods to eat, like power bars or fruits and vegetables to eat, that should take you through the tournament. Drink lots of fluids too.
