Hi Pieter, They do sell the latest Yonex rackets, but pretty expensive. In what models are you interested? I get a good discount, because I do the buying for my club. Which models do you like?
Hi Mark, Thanks for the reply, but yesterday I have bought a Ti Swing Power sx (blue version) for 126,- euros. The shop had a big collection of rackets and the clerk actually seemed to understand what he was talking about. I hope I didn't pay to much.....
Hi Pieter, Excellent choice! I also bought one last week, only I had the SR version. In what shop did you buy your racket? The price is also very good! Where do you play the game? Mark
It is good to hear I didn't get ripped of. I bought my racket in Tilburg at Wilkin Sports. They have a website at www.wilkinsports.nl Their price was 140 but they were willing to give me a 10 percent discount. They had both versions (blue and red) of the swing power. The clerk said that there wasn't a lot of difference between the two, but he recommended the blue version. Perhaps you know the main difference?
There are 4 types of Ti Swingpower. The order is: SX-SS-SR-SA where the SA is the most flex. The SX is for the offensive hard-hitter(stiff) and the SA is for the defensive control-player, according to the Yonex chart. Now you have an excellent racket, when can we expect your name in the dutch top100?
Hahahaha. If something like that was to happen than this racket would truly be a miracle!!! But what I meant with the different versions was that yonex seems to have a new (red?) and old (blue?) version of the Ti Swing Power. And I was wondering if there were differences between these two. How much did you pay for your SR and what colour is it?
I used it last weekend for the first time in my official matches, and i won everything!!! Maybe there's some magic in it... The TI SP SR from last year was blue colored, and was also available in the 4 flex types. I have the orange/black/red, it is the one as displayed on yonex.com. It feels exactly the same as the one from last year. Maybe they changed some little thing that I do not know. Maybe the blue paint is heavier or lighter than the orange paint... ;-) Do you also play in Tilburg?
