Just wondering if anyone has tried Head Super Power 67 or 69 strings?
Sir Dink gave this string an excellent rating however I was unable to find any reviews or feedback after extensive "googling":).

I am about to order a reel of SP 69 and just wanted to see if anyone out there has had any experience with them..
    Much appreciated:)..

I tried Head Power 67, and it was comparable to BG66. It was also slightly more expensive, so I stuck with BG66 til I found ZM67.

I have a reel of Head Super Power 67 recently. I strung it with 27lbs. But it feels like 29lbs +. I need to try in on with 25lbs.

PS. Nightbird, I could cut you a set so you could try it out. Let me know. I could drop it off tomorrow.

Comparable to BG 66 means it is a pretty good string..I was a bit hesitant to try SP 67 due to its durability but I found a reel of SP 69 for $60 CDN which I believe is a great buy..What ya think?

    Hi,

last year i played with Yonex BG66 and HEAD SP67 at 30lbs. i like the string very much, but it snapped so fast. sometimes during warmup...

changed to SP69 and think it´s better at high tension. and somehow i feel like Head SP67 is thinner than YY Bg66...

have enough in stock but not enough time to play at a moment, pm me if you want to try some and are willing to pay postage :)

Perhaps SP 69 is the way to go..How much do u have of SP 69?

Dink did give both 67 & 69 an excellent rating in his string review..Just that 67 seems to not last too long..I picked up a roll of 69 and will post my findings once I try it out..

BTW, I was able to find a reel of 69 for arnd $ 60 CDN shipped.

Let's see how long does it take me to snap them!!

Got a head metallix with Head Super Power 69 on it. It feels soft but with good power and control. Only has it for a week, it is factory string. So never tried it on higher tension and like to know its durabily.

Anyone has experience on it. How does the testing go?

Well, the SP 67 courtesy cards_pro did not last long-in fact it snapped in 2 games and I did not mishit..It did feel pretty good though.

SP 69 lasted for abt 40 games before it snapped too..I felt the string was livelier at high tension and on par with BG 85..For the price I paid, Iwouldn't hesitate to get it again..

I have N50 coming and Head 69 is ready for this baby.
On saturday I will be able to test it.
I will post my opinion after test.

I will get it string at 27-29lbs.
as with my thin string I usually got it strung at 26-28lbs.

It plays similar to the BG65 .However , durability is not great and drop in tension if strung at above 24lbs . overall it is a nice string

I think it has better power and control, even it has similar soft feel as BG65.

All .69mm string has poor durability above 24lb. For me above 24lb should be domain of .70 string. But who knows what durability means. For me is over two months, for someone is over a year, and the person next to me is 2 weeks.
