    honestly
this sub forum is kinda messy
it is hard for anyone to get what they want

so,i have a suggestion to made it more comfortable and more tidyand i had already pm kwun for this

    my suggestion is
1st:divide the profesional sub forum acording to country(example:lcw, wmc and mj threads in malaysia player sub section)

2nd:further divide the country sub section into(see which kwun would choose)
    a)example:china:1st team,2nd team and province,junior
mas:elite, elite back up,back up,junior or bam and bjss

b)divide acording to department:lcw to ms thread, wmc to ws thread

    any idea?

another issue:anyone agree that if we have a sub forum for:
    1)every country asociation link(like www.bam.org.my)
    2)continental and bwf link
3)link for badminton freak and badzine

    anyone?
    hope to see feedback
    thanks:)

    ^^My 3 M'sian sens..^^

    - I'm open to the 1st idea, to divide related players into countries (create sub-forums). However, there may be overlap of players/news and a few unknown players from smaller countries. Are we going to create separate sub-forums for them??..
    - I don't prefer creating another sub-divisions into WS or MS or MD or Junior players or 1st team..
    - The links to different associations can be found in one of BWF's offical website' links. And yes, there is no official link to BWF's website in BC.
    - Although it's a bit inconspicuous, there is already a badzine link (see the little icon, just below the vertical ads, on the left column).

partitioning can be a good idea, but over-partitioning is always undesirable. the metric we use is to see how much traffic we currently have and decide if partitioning is a good idea.

looking at the professional forum right now, we have around 10-15 active threads on each day. imho, that's no where near enough to justify dividing the forum.

Divide the professional sub-forum according to country

    .
    * 1st: divide the professional sub-forum according to country

For the more active countries, YES.
Here, we are referring to National Associations like the 'BIG 5':
    CHN, DEN, INA, KOR, MAS.

Perhaps, we can also do it for the next 'active' group, like ENG, FRA, GER, HKG, IND, JPN, NED, SIN, THA, TPE, etc...

Countries like Australia, Canada, USA, etc... they do not need to be listed separately; although we can group them into their 'BWF Regions/Confederations'.

    * 2nd: further divide the country sub-section

    Don't think this is necessary.

let me give it some thoughts and more analysis.

if we decide to do it, the most that will be done is to add a sub-forum for each of the 5 largest badminton nations. anymore than that will be too much division.

Many BCers do not know what countries belong to what Confederations

    .
And also too much work for admin/moderators to be moving players' threads from one BWF Confederation to another. Many BCers who do not know what countries belong to what Confederations will probably place players in the wrong sub-forums.

Malaysian BCers love to talk about their players

    .
Happy to find that a sub-forum for each of the 5 largest badminton nations has been created.

    It's a not a surprise to find the most number of posts are contained in the 'Malaysia Professional Players' sub-forum. Perhaps it shows 2 things;
    * Many BCers are Malaysians, and
    * Malaysian BCers love to talk about their players

    My additional 2.75 M'sian sens..

    - It looks tidier. But i noticed there are still very few overlapping threads of players from different nations.
    - It's not 10 pages or 10++ pages, yet. But, my feeling is, it's gonna be that long in a few yrs..
    - For this special request, I'd be expecting something from limsy, the next time i visit KL, to bring back to kwun..
