When is the Next Friendly Tournament???

Please update info on up coming tournament or event.

It would be great if ABC management Will give out a nice reward-(Trophy

) for any TEAM that representing ABC club that can WIN all their matches w/out a loss.

Next Friendship Games will be on Saturday 2/21/08. 16 Doubles Teams, total 32 players will be sent from ABC, compose of 4 different levels. They all have to be ABC members.

Date: 2/21 - Saturday
Place: ABC
Time: 5-10pm

That's a very good idea to have a Trophy to memorize such ongoing event, twice a month at ABC. We shall make a shield and engrave all the winners so it'll be more interesting.

I hope the Trophy idea becomes a REALITY. It feels great to bring home a NICE Trophy after sweating so much on the court. I can't wait to get my hand on #1 Trophy from ABC & a Nice T-shirt too with ABC logo on it. I'll be very very Happy.

So my NEW YEAR Resolution is to bring home a TROPHY this Year 2009!!!!

The Trophy will be a Plaque and showing all the names that won this Friendship Games, not individual medals yet.

We'll look into Sponsors so T-shirts and Trophies can be presented in the future.

The next Monthly Meet ( Friendship Tournament ) will be held on March 21, 09 location : ABC and with the same format. For those interested in participating, you can register your name & Partner at the ABC registration desk. Since there are limited space available, it will be " First come first serve only ". Come and have fun !!!

Friendship Badminton Tournament - Garden Grove/Anaheim Group vs Arcadia Badminton Club
Saturday - 08/08/2009 - 5:00PM to 10:00PM at Arcadia Badminton Club

FORMAT : ROUND ROBBIN

4 TEAMS : A1, A2, A3, A4 EACH COMPETING WITHIN ITS LEVEL/CATEGORY !!
The format of the tournament will be exactly the same as our previous Friendship Tournaments. Every pair will play 4 matches within 5 hours. Every participant will put in 1 piece of shuttlecock at the beginning of a match. The winning pair will keep all the remaining unused shuttlecocks. The scoring system will be 21-point rally, the best of 3 games.

Come down to watch the game ....cheer for your teams ! !!!
Non-members $ 7.00 & $ 5.00 for members
Registrations : First come first serve Only...please sign up early to reserve your spot.....
