broken strings

    just a quick question if you do break a string is it best to leave it on or take them off

    much much better to de-tension the string but u have to cut it correctly

    I know most guys just cut a diagonal from lower right to upper left, some start in the middle and cut an X. The most important parts is speed, do it very quickly to minimize uneven stress.
