Suppose Badminton Central were to host a BC Open for all its forumers (minus the international pros if we have them in BC). How likely are we going to have a good turnout and participation?

And who's like to win MS, MD, WS etc etc ? LOLLL

impossible there is over 54000 members and even if only 27000 turned up thats still a lot
What you would have to do is have a tournament in each country then the top 2 progresses to the continental final and then the top 4 progress to the world final to find the overall winner
But to be honest its too much work even though i am sure we could do it but its probaly too expensive

Make sure you can only participate if you've held a BC account over ~ period of time and posted ~ times.

Start an account just before the tournament starts

    .
    April 2009 is long enough.

Some might, in order to participate, start an account just before the tournament starts. :p:p:p

yep that's a good point chris. There would have to be some sort of rule on when the account was created because like chris said, someone could create an account a month before the tournament just to enter which would be unfair

Methinks that the "BC tournaments" where members play are the PAWS.;)

Heck, if Dinkalot can start a whole new brand, one would think BC could design a T-shirt! :p

    There is a shirt. :p

I got mine directly from Kwun (in 2003 or 2004) and I have retired it after many years of wearing it.

Mind to post a photo of it?

Can we resurrect the idea of having a BC Open? It doesn't matter even if it's held at USA. I'd still be very interested to watch our BCers on the court and don't mind a USD10 contribution. Kwun?
