Thread: Exchange program?
12-27-2009, 03:37 AM #1
This is an exchange program. I'm not sure if it's gonna work. I have seeked advise from our boss kwun and he agreed with it.
I own a double-storey linkhouse at Putra Heights (Subang Jaya), which is 15-min drive to Sunway/Summit USJ and 30-min ride to Putra Stadium Bukit Jalil.
I'm opening my house for BCers who are coming from elsewhere for Malaysia Open 2010.
How does it work?
1. You can stay at my house for one night with every premium ticket purchased for me. Premium tickets for 5 days only cost RM165.
2. If you're coming with someone else, just buy me a meal for every night stay on top of the premium ticket.
Who is entitled?
1. For safety reasons, I only accept BCers who have been in the forum NOT LESS THAN A YEAR.
2. I can only take up to 5 people at a time.
1. I'll be driving to the stadium and we'll be sharing the petrol, toll and parking fees.
2. I'm doing this for the love and spirit of badminton and I don't receive any money for this program.

^^Thank you for the offer..^^
..i may need this room offer, come May, next yr, though (for Thomas & Uber Cups)..Are you willing to accept reg. payment for renting the room?? But, i guess it's too early to make a reservation???..

Robin, how about charge room rental, per day such & such amount, then easier for you & everyone to calculate. Hehe, yeah, same like ctjcad, book for TC/Uber.
Then all the ladies can have....... a room.. Jessica? Louisa? Luyi? Kak Pjswift & Jen?

Chris & Eagle, as I highlighted in my original post, I don't collect rental but a token of appreciation such as tickets and meals are expected. As a reminder, my sister is staying with me.
For this coming May, I'm not sure if I'll be around. But it sounds like a good idea to have those regular members gathered at my house. Let's see, I'll let you guys informed on this.

I love to stay together with BCers, more fun. But Robin can only take in 5. I am coming with luyi and my niece, so 3 of us....Kak Helang, you confirm coming? My air tickets purchased....Michelle and Melanie of Miri also going, probably will stay with them. Tentatively targeting Tune Hotel, but all depends on the venue.
Having friend in KL, but do not want to disturb ppl's normal life...I assume, we will have dinner and supper together after each day....FUN is waiting ahead...

Otherwise, stay at the official hotel (which is probably the Palace of the Golden Horses/Mines Hotel Combo).
A third option is to stay in areas that are close to the Star LRT stations, Tune Hotel at Jalan Sultan Ismail KL is one of them.
