    Hi All,

I would like to find out if there are other badminton courts in Johor Bahru other than these:
    1) BL Sports Complex
    2) Permas Jaya Sports Club
    3) Johor Jaya (near the Store)
    4) Johor Badminton Academy
    5) Larkin Stadium
    6) Tiara Club
    7) JL Sports Centre, Jln Andang 3

I read in this forum that there are badminton courts at Taman Istimewa (Pandan Badminton Court) and Ulu Tiram. Can someone confirm this?

Hope the players in JB (eg. Chome :)) can help me out.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

There is another badminton centre near BL, it's called 明珠。Sorry i forgot the english name, but is not that big, 6 - 7 courts only. The place is easy to find, it's on the left side of Jalan Masai Lama if you come from Giant Plentong.

There are two badminton courts (as far as i know) @ Ulu Tiram, CI Tiram (四海) and GaoYuan(高原). CI Tiram is bigger and have a lot of good players there. GaoYuan is just opposite to CI Tiram. Not easy to find unless you know the road there.

Eastern (东方羽球) is located @ Pandan, just opened recently. 8 - 10 courts. Quite a few state players play on Tuesday.

Taman Perling also has one, somewhere near the Perling Mall. YC Sport is @ Bukit Kempas, quite small but expensive. For Bukit Indah Club i never been there before.

Please let me know if you want to know the exact locations of these places. I might play @ Eastern on this coming Friday.

    Hope this help.

Hi Bruce, there is a very big (28 courts) badminton hall just opened recently, named Millenium Sport, somewhere near Sutera Mall. I played there twice, quite a nice place. If you have GPS, this is the coordinates of the place:

    N 01.31.464
    E 103.40.323

    Some pictures for you.

the Millenium Sport, for me, first time i go. the blue colour flooring make me quite headache due to the colour, haha.
The second time i go was early morning. we book one court then some of the players which not their turn just play the beside court. we didnt request to on lights or what.. first time being stopped by the ppl there. second also again. i just told him that how come the malays can play whereas we cant. he speak softly, i dunno what he answer. He also dunno how to answer as well. Actually no big deal as i didnt request to on lights or what... some of the frens not really happy
