i measured the stiffness of the Spira21's shaft and compared it with the NS9900. granted that i only have access to a used NS9900 and brand new Spira21.
the measurement shows that Spira21 is slightly stiffer than the NS9900. but only very slightly so. so i think when new, they are of comparable stiffness.

Man, with every post I get more and more confused about the SP21.
Some say it's head heavy, others say it's like a 9900.
Some say it's quite a flexible racket, but then Kwun says its the same stiffness as a 9900, which while not as stiff as say a SW35, it's still a very stiff racket.
WTF?

Again, it's all down to individual preferences & feeling. Don't bother too much about what people had to say about certain racket. All you gotta do is get one or borrow one from your friend and give it a try. I bought Spira21 last 2 months ago (was during promo) and haven't gotten my hand on it yet. & in 2 more weeks i'd be able to "hug" it after 2 months long of waiting! Maybe i'll give another different review of the racket, but it would be personal review.

I would definitely like to try the SP21 before deciding but I've never seen anyone use it here in HK...but in the end, I'll probably just end up with another SW35 (same price as SP21 here).
Thanks kwun for the delightful comments on the SP21. I really do want to get my hands on one

I heard lots of good reviews and satisfaction on SW35 & BS series thus i know it is one of an excellent racket line from Victor. And because i knew it is excellent for majority of players yet very few people would consider on new product line as such Spira and Bumblebee Hornet series. All i'm saying is, sometime someone gotta take a risk of ignoring these best-reviewed old rackets and get their hands a bit dirty with disappointment or new satisfaction on new rackets that very few people won't even bother trying.

i finally able to try my Spira21 for 2-hour session. I don't feel it any head-heavy as claimed by Victor chart. More like balanced to me. I compared this with my KUmpoo PowerShot 2300 Hexagon anyway. the shaft is a little bit stiffer than my BS11 but more flexible if compared with my Kumpoo 2300H. Because i tried it with VS-850 at 25Lbs (must be down to 24Lbs since i last strung it 2 months ago), i could feel the explosion power out of ... dunno either the racket or the string. The sound of hitting is loud enough to scare off your weak-mental opponents. I gotta compare this Spira21 with Bumblebee 01 Hornet series later and see how things going.

I already got SW35 and BS10
I already sold my BS11 (although I regret it later)
now I'm really interested in Spira 21
how is this racket compare to the above mentioned rackets ???
thanks in advance

Spira is a very stiff racket which is about the same stiff to that of SW35
But as Spira apply spira tec in the shaft that the control is super good
HEAD PowerHelix serires racket and our RKEP AT800TEC also apply similar tec.
VICTOR had just launced their new Spira racket: Spira 22
(you could find all these rackets in our e-Bay store)
which could feel much more close to that of BS11 in the stiff and BP
