Recommend me a Racket!
Hi Everyone,
Right now I want to move up to a racket that can hold a higher tension. Currently I am using a Black Knight PC-V65 and It can hold a max of about 24lbs. I have no budget and have looked around. I seem to like balanced rackets. I have heard the MP99 is a balanced powerful racket but has been discontinued. How is the Z-Slash? How about the AT900P? Li-Ning N90? I like smashing and will be playing singles most of the time. Thanks!

mp99 is slightly head heavy. Try the at900t. i think Z-slash is a bit more head heavy than mp99 and at900t. Both taufik and LCW have used the at900t at one time.

A little Head Heavy is fine. Is the AT900T create a good sound when the birdie is smashed?

I'm gonna use Ashaway Zymax 67 because its basically a BG80 that lasts longer. Hows the Ti-10? Is it the purple one?

maybe you should give Apacs Lethal 60/70 a try 50 is rated top of this review http://www.badmintoncentral.com/foru...ad.php?t=45209
60 and 70 is pretty similar i have 60 myself and it generates a lot of power, i could tell the difference by the sound just by swinging it with my yy muscle power 100...
and for 80USD+18 shipping from racket_sports on ebay (quiet a few people on this forum got their rackets from him) i think it's well worth a try...
tension wise the new Lethal 70 could take up to 40lbs while (i think 60 is 30-35 depending on old - new versions)
tho this is not a balanced (weight: head heavy) racket it certainly gives power...
otherwise you can look into other top apacs rackets they're suppose 2 be similar to yy rackets while being much cheaper...

Okay Thanks peoples I will check out these rackets in more detail! I'm looking at Apacs Lethal series, Li-Ning N90, Yonex AT900T, Ti-10 and Z slash.

if you insist on a more balanced weight racket take a look at apacs Tantrum 200/300, this 1 also gets a lot of praise.
if you insist on yonex, i would go for Ti-10, u can't go wrong with it, tho it's not as cheap....
i've heard Z-slash isn't good unless your an advanced player with a good swing speed...
the thing is most yonex's tension recommendation is around 24lbs... and at that price i'd cry if it broke cuz it's stringed too high... i could get 2-3 top apacs rackets at that price...

ti-10 is pretty cheap in my opinion 130-140 including string and shipping at badmintonshoponline.us zslash is about 160 on that site as well

I have and lots of other members, hes a great seller, but the strings that comes with the racket are not. the price are very competitive, and he can get other Apacs rackets as well. I would recommend getting non Yonex clones, they are usually 3U and performs better
