Kam Chung finally beats a senior player
“I have been playing in Division One for the last three years and I have finally beaten a senior player,” he said.
“I was good on the counter attack today. I have learnt a lot from Hendrawan, especially on executing the right game plan.
“I have played against Chong Wei once before, three years ago. Then, I was able to take a game off him in a from tournament at Terengganu. At that time, his coach, Li Mao, had left him and Chong Wei was not at his best.
“It will be good to see how I fare against him this time. I hope to show some improvement in my game against him.”

Badminton: Wei Feng looking for a change in fortunes with determination
“We often came under harsh criticisms and I even contemplated giving up the game. But my coaches (Rashid and Misbun Sidek) feel that I have not explored my full potential yet,” he said.
“I believe that I can make a difference. I lost focus this year. I was trying to make myself an attacking player when my strong point is on endurance.”
Wei Feng hopes that he will make the grade to the squad for the SEA Games in Indonesia in November.
“Except for me, all the other singles players in the back-up team (Tan Chun Seang, Chan Kwong Beng, Mohd Arif Abdul Latif and Liew Daren) have been given a chance to compete in major competitions. Hopefully, I can prove my worth for a place in the squad for the SEA Games,” he said.

Too bad that they are injury prone. Can something be done to help them?

MS fail. Old and creaky Hafiz still manage to outlast our backups in RUBBER. Something is wrong with their stamina.

All my final hopes on Zul already. If he fails to make the step-up to senior, forget watching MS after LCW, PG, TH and LD retire.

Just forget watching MS of Mas in the future after LCW retire. There's plenty of new talent coming up from other countries. Therefore, continue watching MS of the world battling it out

Players who are injuries prone are those having poor fitness level, low in their stamina.........
Under tired condition, when their minds wanted to go for a shot, their body cant cope up with, their musles cant provide enough support......injury will occur ! Very simple !Last edited by jasonmarc; 12-20-2010 at 02:23 AM.
