Once again, a bunch of players are sent to the Thailand GPG.

Those who survive the first round (R64):
Chong Wei Feng - that too because he faced another MAS youngster.
Mohd Arif Latif - quite an impressive win over a seeded player.

    Those who lost:
Daren Liew - to Riichi Takeshita
Goh Soon Huat - to Evert Sukamta
Chan Kwong Beng - to RMV Gurusaidatt
Beryno Wong - to Shih Kuei-Chun
Lok Chong Chieh - to Wen Kai

    Match-ups in R32:
Chong Wei Feng vs Brice Leverdez
Mohd Arif Latif vs Riichi Takeshita

A lot of casualties taken by MAS team... don't forget the mixed doubles as all already sent packing...

Not much improvement it seems...only Mohd Arif Latif progresses to R16. Brice Leverdez beat Chong Wei Feng.

Mohd Arif beat Rajiv is a remarkable achievement,

should be a confirmed ticket to enter the international circuit for him

Let's hope at least he is not far with old time rival, Chen long

Well, we have to see what he can do against another tough and improved player today - P. Kashyap. If he wins, then he gets his date with Chen Long.

Impressive win by Goh Wei Shem/Lim Khim Wah over Cho Gun Woo/Kwon Yi Goo! They will face another Korean pair, Kim Ki Jung/Shin Baek Cheol next.

Defeating two Korean MDs in a row is very remarkable indeed! Go get the third!

Maybe this korean pair is too much for them.

Anyway, congrats for their outstanding performance.

I have to agree with Dato A, Ko/Yoo is probably too much for them to handle But yes, they have already done well to reach the quarter-finals, good luck and hope they play their best...

Not much pattern? What do you mean by that?
However, it seems that GWS/LKW combo has surpassed the GWS/TKS combo now, they beat Cho/Kwon which is quite a tough pair and they beat Kim/Shin in straight games
