Returning to this thread. Sung Ji Hyun has arrived at the Quarter-Finals at the 2011 Korea GP Gold tournament playing this week.

At the Quarter-Finals, Sung Ji Hyun will be facing former KOR top player, Hwang Hye Youn.

I believe that HHY is back in good form (recovering from her foot injury that she told me she had some 2 years ago). Therefore I believe that SJI could be facing a tough battle against HHY at this QF.

It was great that Sung Ji Hyun could defeat both Wang Yihan (CHN) and Juliane Schenk (GER), although failing to defeat Tine Baun (DEN).

As I was watching the conclusion of the 2012 Uber Cup Final, I have to say to Sung Ji Hyun: Please don't feel so sad.

For Sung Ji Hyun to have given our current World No.1, Wang Yihan, a scare of her life, SJH should be proud of her performance.

It's great that Wang Yihan did well to come back to win the match, not that SJH didn't try hard enough.

Now, we need another 2 years for SJH to prepare for her next Uber Cup.

Yes, WYH was also so sad after losing to Bae Seung Hee at the 2010 Uber Cup Final WS1 (in KL, Malaysia).
