Oh, my god. With a thread like this, I'm sure all the debates from the previous threads (about LCW) will continue here...:(

What the point of creating a new thread just to discuss of DLCW's chances in 2012 olympic?

It is still early to "predict" that LCW will be the Olympic gold medalist,2 more years to come, anything can happen.

If fit and healthy, LCW should be going to the 2012 Olympics.

But whether he is going to win the gold medal is another question.

My take is he wont win in 2012. Yes, he is going to compete and sample the Olympics experience and all. The only gold medal he be taking home is the one he bought at the games village souvenir shop.

I say he wont win in 2012 because come 2012, LCW is no spring chicken anymore. Plus, if he cant win the WC/AE/OG(Beijing) at his peak, it aint gonna happen on his way down.

With literally no youngsters... Malaysia is going to send LCW unless he is injured

LD playing less and being a bit younger is a much better favorite... my eyes are on Jan Jorgensen and Chen Jin tho

i hope ( here we go again, playing the game of hopes) one name will just pops out and take his place, asap. 2012 could always surprise us with a fresh champion, hopefully from Malaysia.

The highest chance prediction would be LD, but of course, anything can happen in 2 years.

I'm wondering what honor will be awarded if the Datuk wins the Gold in 2012.
