Hardly any Indian players in Korea SS and Malaysia SS. I have got very less to cheer about :crying: And then when I thought may be I can cheer the INA players, I find they are missing too. I can understand Badminton India is trying to prepare its ground to ensure some medals in CWG, but why Indonesia? They can easily find a few world class players available (they have got so many good players) Not good!!:crying::crying:
Arif lost to EA Games Gold medalist, Choi Ho Jin and this Korean MS will take on Tan Chun Seang later at second match of qualifying round to determine who'll get main draw ticket.
The weather is too cold at Korea in January and INA shuttlers typically don't do well in Korea since 2007. That's why it's better to save the money.
Just checked the weather forecast of Seoul, it will be below zero for most of the week and it can get to -20 degrees. A wise decision for INA players (except maybe for AG/Alvent??) not to compete there.
< side news > Today as a way of promotion '2pm' (one of the top Korean idol groups) is going to visit the gym and meet YD. One of the members (Nichkhun, who is from Thailand) is said to have been a badminton player once. It is expected for him to play an exhibition match with YD. The gym might be crowded with 2pm fans, YD fans and some badminton fans.
wow! that indeed a great side news but, well in korea, lee yong dae is as hot and popular as dong bang shin ki and super junior maybe lee yong dae fans is more than 2pm(hehe,just joke) looking forward how tcs fair againts chj but surely,he can score more than arif do
Yup, it's so freezing and cold there Better to concentrate in MAS SS with more friendly weather condition for INA shuttlers
hmm arent this is a good time to get used to cold weather what if some major tournament help at a cold weather in future?
Except for AE, most of the majors will be held during Summer, usually in Aug/Sep for WC and the Olympics). This year, the Asian Games will be held in November with cool weather, but not as cold as below 0 for sure. That goes for AE as well.
Daren Liew got frozen at 17-16 in the second set LCW better be careful....a cold snap might hit him in his matches.
yup well done for tcs beaten the east asia games ms gold medalist will see how he fair against du peng yu in 1st round there is tv court tomorrow anyone to provide link?
