Happened tonight when my backhand was met by a whole hearted smash by my partner during play. I've actually finished hitting the shuttle and stopped my racket when it was hit by the cheapo gosen at full speed, hence the maximum damage...

i almost :crying: on the court...

    enjoy the carnage...

Yonex NanoSpeed 9900 4U is more stronger

    .
Well, perhaps for your next Yonex NanoSpeed 9900, go for 4U. It's more stronger.

Wrong way around - 4U is the lightest Yonex and will this be the weakest (it's lucky the NS9900 doesn't come in 4U anyway:D). I think chris meant 2U.

No, only 3U and 2U. 2U is most commonly available in the JP distribution code.

2U should be stronger that the 3U, not the 4U

    .
Thank you for the correction, Mark A.
Yes, 2U is stronger that the 3U, not the 4U. Sorry it's a typo.:eek::eek:
4U is lighter and weaker than 3U (under Yonex specifications).

You could've given some sort of warning as in "contains pictures not suitable for minors and feinthearted" /looks nervously at his NS9900

Slightly OT, but something I've always wondered though, how often do you people clash rackets? I think the last time I did it was some 4 years ago, and my tactic proved to be the stronger :p

I've only clashed twice in the 12 years of playing and have been extremely fortune (touch wood) that my rackets have survived. Thank God for that and hope that I dont jink myself. First time I clashed was with my AT700 (4U) and it proved the stronger racket, the other racket being a Prince Thunder. We both went for the same smash and the other racket broke in 2 places after smashing into my racket. The second time was about 6 months ago, I was playing with my Bravesword 08 (same partner, same smash), his 1 month UK serial NS9900 broke a the 2o'clock and 4 o'clock location. I felt like :crying: such a same to such a beautiful racket. I actually feel sorry for people who break rackets. Such a shame :(

How to remember the different specifications given by Yonex

    .
:eek::eek: Perhaps it was two drinks too many. :D:D:D

How to remember the different specifications by Yonex:
The grip size is denoted by "G"; the smaller the number, the larger the handle size.
The weight is denoted by "U"; the smaller the number, the heavier the weight.

For Yonex grip size, I could only guess that G1 was their starting size. When players found that smaller grips are better for them, Yonex started G2 to bring down their grip size. Then came G3, G4, etc......

And for Yonex racket weight, again
I could only guess that 1U was their starting weight. When players found that lighter weights are better for them, Yonex started 2U to bring down their racket weight. Then came 3U, 4U, etc......

This is how I remember the
    specifications given by Yonex. :):):)

Chris-ccc: glad it was a typo, i thought it could have been sarcasm :p

Alom: i usually dont have clashes as i know not to go for 50-50 shots.. unfortunately in this case it was mine and i took it, but my dear partner was a bit too eager

all things being said, time to look for another ns9900.. anyone wanting to part with one?
