And if that doesn't work and you're chinese in Richmond, you can try chinese "teet ta", literally "iron hit". They can give you wraps and applications.
However, a quick assessment first. Does it hurt to do push ups?
If it does after so many months, then that is not good...

Have you been playing for those months? (what I'm actually asking is: have you tried not using it for a couple of weeks, then slowly start to use it more and more with some light weights etc. and then progress onwards to badminton again?)

You might have some permanent damage there... an MRI would be the best way to tell but I'd also suggest a visit to a certified sports massage therapist and see if they can help. If it's a twisting motion then it sounds like a ligament or tendon instead of a muscle though.

If you're in vancouver, go to Kelvin's physiotherapy clinic on broadway. He's very good and should be able to help you out.

Not that I know of...but if you're wrist is hurting that badly you should really just try it. I don't know if you will get the same results as me but I also injured my wrist playing badminton and I couldn't play for a long while too until I went to him.

If you've already tried physio without success, you should try a different modality, like chinese teet ta. Have you seen your doctor about it yet to see what he thinks about your wrist?

If you have tendonitis in your wrist, acupuncture works very well. I had tendonitis in my wrist from badminton and it was hurting to a point where I couldn't even hold a pen. After several treatments and isolation the pain has gone away and has been gone for years now. There has been times where it would feel sore again but quick massage, and some wrap to keep my wrist from moving would make the pain go away usually by the next day. I would massage the thumb muscle at the bottom of the thumb on the palm (i hope that make sense), and another massage to the whole forearm but more up near the elbow.
Keep trying to massage and stretch your wrist and try to wrap it up so you cant move it when you dont need to use it. You can stretch but holding your arm straight in front of you palm down, and pulling your hand down.
