David, hate to throw this one in to the works. I haven't tried either of these but I currently use Ashaway towel grip and I have had no problems.
Get the victor towel grip although I hear the monsoon one isn't too bad, I presume that the monsoon grip Is harder to get in the UK, unless you are shipping from abroad. I belive a roll of victor towel grip (does about 20 rackets) is available from www.centralsports.co.uk is under £10
i have used monsoon and think its very comfy and thick very similar to victor i know a few ppl who swear by monsoon and iv tried ashaway not so comfy, much thinner but good grip
Myself, I use a White Victor Frottee grip. That's a towel grip by Victor. Very comfortable. It gives me a very good grip and feel of the racket. But that still is my opinion. You would have to give it a try yourself.
If you're in Singapore, I could let you try my own Mongoose brand of towel grips. I too had alot of trouble finding good towel grips in the past. So a friend of mine helped me contact a towel grip factory directly and we made our own brand of grips.
