To be controversial, I hope Chen Long goes forward. Peter is wonderful, but it would be nice to see some youngsters get to MS finals.:)

To be inconsistent, I'm also hoping old Flandy goes forward, just because I liked him when he was with Vita. (And the XD final would be even more fun to watch if the lovely Ms. Maeda was one of his opponents.)

Dato LCW and Peter to advance..(LCW to win the Korea Open and then take the rest of the week off, next week;))..
WSX (one of CHN's new rising WS sensations) and SJH (KOR's new WS sensation??) to advance..
CHN's XD pair and INA/TPE XD pair to advance..
KOR's WD pair and CHN's WD pair to advance..
and last and the best Finals Rd. showdown will be between FHF & CY vs. JJS & LYD..

CJ may be a handful for LCW. Won't be surprise to see CJ advance to final. CL may be too good for Peter. My tip CJ VS CL, the 2 Chen for the final.

    Prediction:
    Mixed:
    HHB/ yu Yang Vs Maeda/Hirata
Lately HHb/YY did not play as good as six - seven months ago but they still too strong for the japanese pair. China pair win in 2 tight sets.
    TJM/ ZYW VS Flandi/CWH
TJM/ ZYW had tons of success lately. As long as ZYW play her best China pair will win in 3 tight sets.

    Women Singles:
Korean girls dominates in their own event. A good news for their coach due preparation for Uber Cup.
Bae Sung Hee will meet WSX in final.

    Women Doubles:
The Japanese pair Fujii/Kakiiwa will meet ZYL/CS in final. Without their team mates to play against, this is the best chance for ZYL/CS to win SS title. Talking about pressure.

    Men Doubles
CY/FHF Vs Endo/Hirobe. The fav China pair will win in 2 sets.
JJS/LYD Vs CB/ZN. The Korean will win in 2 tight sets. This SF is the best result for CB/ZN. At least for the mean time, LYB will not tear up this pair.

    Men Single
This is the hardest to predict.

Chen Long Vs Peter Gade. 48% : 52. Gade will win in a very hard battle.
After a very good results six months of 2009, the other half of 2009, the results are not so good for CL. But this is a good test for him. If he can win over PG in SF, he will 90% called in Thomas Cup as the fourth single.

    LCW VS CJ. 50% : 50%
So far both had some health issues in 2009 and playing tons of events in 2009 .So I am not sure both of them are really in 100%. Whomever had the fittest body will win tomorrow. I pick CJ to win.

MS is really the hardest to predict.
However, Chen Long has not been good at the later part of last year after beating LCW and TH, so I think Peter Gade will win in 2 sets. If Chen Long can force Peter to the rubber, maybe Peter Gade will run out of gas seeing the super tight match between him and PSH yesterday.

Both LCW and CJ has been demolishing their earlier round opponents in at least 1 set, so I would give a 50-50.

If LCW vs Chen Long in final, it will make my day.
If LCW vs Peter Gade in final, I will still be happy.
If CJ beats LCW, I would be pretty sad :(

Best of luck to Lee Chong Wei and Chen Long!

I personally think that CJ has a higher chance of making it to the finals than CL. CJ has an approximately 50% chance while CL has the advantage of being fit against the dane uncle but I think stands a 40% chance.

Chen Jin has a chance if he stays confident. But if he loses first game, I think he's sunk for sure.

Whoever wins today's matches, let's hope they're all good ones!:)
(enjoy watching live, you lucky folks on the right side of the planet)
