chai biao/zhang nan's partnership is getting better and better..
I see they have the potential to go further and challenge for more title in the future.
all credits should go to their coach, zhang jun actually

some new pairs, like CB & ZN, might surprise other established pairs because of the latter pairs' unfamiliarity against the new pairs. but after a while, the new pairs' style of play should be familiar to other pairs. what differentiates pairs like Cai Yun & FHF is their ability to continually develop and adapt their style against the more established and seasoned pairs. they're still relatively young, so we'll see how the new CHN pair develops.

I think CB/ZN can do better in the future. If they train well, I guess then can overtake Xu Chen/Guo Zhendong to become the 2nd MD in China. Both CB/ZN borne after 1990, they are still very young and very talented also. I hope to see they shine in the future, but Korea has many talented MDs coming up also, such as SBC, YYS, CGW, KSH and etc... But it is a wise decision from the team to pair Chai Biao with Zhang Nan than pair Chai Biao with his previous partner Liu Xiaolong. And also Zhang Nan has splitted up with Chen Zhiben to pair up with Chai Biao.

If they could keep playing good, they would not only be able to be top Chinese MD, but also be able to be another pair of stars... they got the faces and body built...
so worth of keeping an eye on their performance...

I'm no expert but I was very impressed on their match with LYD & JJS. The match was very close only untimely errors on the end of each game. It can be attributed to inexperience but come a year or two they might challenge already the top MD pairs.

they have good attitude... "we have to further polish our skills..." and good desire "to fight for a berth in the TC, and try to do better in international competitions..." and a sense of responsibility "when our top pair retires, we should have to take up their role..."; hope they could keep a cool head and solidly improve...

Their individual skills were good...but they still lack experience and seem to be all over the place, sometimes getting into each other's way during the semi against Koo/Tan

I finally saw their match vs. Ah Koo & Ah Tan.
Right now, their gameplay is mostly bang-bang attacking style. Not much tactic and finesse in their game. Defense is so-so also & poise is lacking (most likely because of their lack of higher level experience). I'd say, if they keep playing, they should be much more consistent by next yr.
