I doubt that Lin Dan will change because the colour is just not him.
Just like when Yonex did the Armotec 700 LTD, he didnt use it....
    Lets share our thoughts. :)

HE has no choice. When Li Ning says "USE THEM" he has no choice. This is the rules and game of endorsement. Welcome to the cold world of advertising and endorsement. ;)
However , if he is only sponsored, then he can continue to keep his N90 first gen. Too bad he is not.

When China team was with Yonex, it is more of a sponsorship whereby Yonex will let the top players like LD to try out different range of top rackets and they get to choose.
With Li Ning, it is a different ball game. N90 is developed based on AT700 improvement and also LD's personal input on it. Same goes for other N series racket (N55 with Chen Jin's input for example) So they are "endorsed" by their own racket. Besides, Li Ning top range racket only has the N series, which is individually based, so there isnt much "room" for LD, FHF, CJ, etc to choose.
Once all of them retired though, it will be interesting to see players like Chen Long, Wang Shi Xian etc whether they can pick and choose ANY Li Ning racket as they like or not becasue none of the racket are tailored made for them instead. ;)

yh i got your point.... :)

me myself has 2x N90 and i love this racket.

my opinion about the N90 II is that colour is just not Lin Dan, LOL. :p

Interesting to see though if Lin Dan decides to keep with his N90 first gen, and Li ning allows him...

There's N90II standard and limited. Lin Dan can choose which color he likes best. :p

My opinion is same as the thread starter. Lin dan will not use the N90 (2) or limited edition , Color doesn't suit him at all. I believe Lin dan can say no to Li ning if he wants to remain using his current N90.

Is there any point to this thread? Since it has nothing to do with the equipment itself you should take it to the professional player section and continue the gossip there ;)

I beleive Li Ning cooperates with Lin Dan, when they design rackets and his clothing line etc.. It is obivous that it is a give and take relationship.. where Lin Dan has a LOT of influence on the decisions and designs, but of course also alot of pressure to endorse and increase commerisal value for Li Ning brand and the products :)

If they call it the N90-II my guess would be that it is most likely Lin Dan will use that one (otherwise it would seem moe probable for them to call that model something else ;) Why not call it N99 for example :) )

    We will see...

I actually think Lin Dan might like the color schemes of gold/red, since they are the bright chinese colors on the national flag. Remember his Olympic 08 sleeveless shirts?

Exactly, demolidor. If the 'best' racket in the world was bright purple with pink spots on, the pro's would use it whatever.

Let's all grow up and move on .................

I am struggling to see the point in this thread

LD will use what racket he prefers, I doubt he will refuse the N90 II on colour, that would be stupid, he will decide on which one he likes best

Lin Dan will use the N90 II because he was presumably consulted on it. If he didn't like it better than the N90 I it wouldn't exist.

    First, This thread is pointless

Second, Lin Dan have to use whatever racker Li Ning shove at his A** (Like it or not this is endorsement and advertising world You don't like it that's YOUR problem)

Third, Lin Dan can still rule the world with a RMB2 Racket where a kindergarden kid is using :D

Forth, Lets close this thread. :p :p :p
