Ok. ok...due to popular demand from Bcers :D:D
:cool: actually only ctjcad...i present you the movies that we
need to watch-out in 2010.....but remember 1st priority still
badminton, so dont go cinema in March (AE), May (TC) and August (WC)...
ok...get your popcorn, kacang putih and cola ready....:D:D

Technically Summer start in March but since February does offer some kick-ass movie....i think Bcers will be interested...

    The Wolfman (12th February)
Basically this movie is a remake of a 1941 movie...the new movie starred Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins about human turning into werewolf...:cool::D:D

    Shutter Island (19th February)
Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio team up after The Aviator and The Departed and will they hit it big in this year Academy Award? The movie is about Dicarpio trying to track down a psychotic killer disappears from a mental hospital on Shutter Island....with Martin Scorsese around, i predict another winner here...

Alice In The Wonderland (5th March)
A remake of Lewis Carroll's tales, Alice In The Wonderland, most of us already know about this childhood bedtime story but heard that this is about Alice's adventure back to the wonderland when she is 19. With long-time partner Tim Burton and Johnny Depp aroud, we expect some visual feast ala..Charlie and The Chocolate Factory

    Green Zone (12th March)
With Matt (Jason Bourne) Damon and director Paul Greengrass partnership...
i expect another popcorn action movie...

Clash of The Titans (26th March)
Based on a remake of 1981 cult classic, it starred Sam (AVATAR) Worthington...

    The Expendables (23rd April)
Directed by Sly Stallone, blockbuster icons of yesteryear, Sly Stallone, Bruce Willis, Dolph Lundgren and even Arnold Schwarzenegger, expect lots and lots
    of blood...

A Nightmare on Elm Street (30th April)
Freddy Krueger is back to haunt our dream yet again after Jason Voerhess
    in 2009....sleep tight mate...:eek::eek:

    Iron Man 2 (7th May)
Tony Stark is back!!! The king of this year blockbuster....after seeing the trailer..I can only say, AWESOME.....:eek:

    Robin Hood (14th May)
Oh my...another remake....Russell Crowe as the king of thief...but with Ridley Scott at helm, expect another "Gladiator" effort....

    Shrek Forever After (21st May)
Are we bored with Shrek yet????:rolleyes: Shrek is set for a fourth and final adventure and so far Shrek previous 3 proved to be winner....and we can PAW :D:D safely here...

Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time (28th May)
Crossover from popular vidoegames, with Jerry Bruckheimer producing, expect another blockbuster ride....

    The A-Team (11th June)
Yoho!!!!! who will ever forget the catchy opening theme of this beloved TV drama of the 80s??? A-Team is a must for me.....:D:D

    The Karate Kid (11th June)
I will not like The Spy Next Door but definitely I will like Karate Kid...simple...watch the trailer....anyway this is also a loose remake a 80s movie....this time Jackie Chan is Mr. Miyagi and Jaden Smith as the student...

    Toy Story 3 (18th June)
heard the movie will be in 3D....Toy Story is one of the favourite cartoon of all time....To Infinity and Beyond...:D:D

    Twillight Saga:Eclipse (30th June)
strictly for gals, guys will sleep in the comfort of the moviehouse....:D:D

    The Last Airbender (2th july)
Have confident in M Night Shymalan, TLA contains the best trailer money shot of 2010 thus far

    Inception (16th July)
Dicarpio with Christopher Nolan, watch the trailer to confused....:D:D

    Salt (23rd July)
    Angelina Jolie...Angelina Jolie...Angela Jolie....and lots of action :D:D

anyway above is just the some of the hot stuffs of 2010.....
others worth-mentioning, Harry Potter, Meet The Fockers Sequel, Jonah Hex
etc.....ok folks....get your popcorn ready n see you in the moviehouse...:D:D

Looking forward to this - Tim Burton is a master of the surreal; partner him with Johnny Depp (one of my fave actors)and you get winners.

Already having great apprehensions about this - imagine the Sands of Time, The Warrior Within, The Two Thrones and (gasp) Prince of Persia (2009) all mixed into one.

The graphics or whatever wizadry might be great but I am not going to accept the idiotic mix of the above - most especially when it will spoil the great stories of Sands of Time and imagine my horror when they revealed that elements of POP2009 will be included. :(

Will it be the same without Mr Miyagi?

Toy Story was very good, Toy Story 2 was excellent. Let's hope they can last the mile in this one.

I just caught this Avatar in 3 D last nite and all the hype about this movie is true! I was blown away by the spectacular CGI ......woohoo...

ya, I think it's more like the futuristic Last Samurai...a warrior turning against his own race....helping the underdogs against the imperialists.

Go catch this movie (preferably in 3 D) if you have not watched it yet....highly recommended.

Saw 2 new ones and 2 from last yr..

..got a chance to see these recently:

    - "The Book of Eli" - Has a lot of spiritual reference & symbolism to Christianity. But the cinematography is pretty interesting. Of course, you throw in Denzel Washington & Gary Oldman in there and they make up for the movie having so-so action sequences & so-so story. Btw, Denzel did all the kungfu, chop-chop moves.

    - "Legion" - story is kinda similar to the "Book of Eli"; a "savior", this time in the form of Michael the angel, coming to save a group of folks fighting against a bunch of zombies in the middle of the desert. Not worth seeing.

    - "Up in the Air" - This is a semi-romantic drama movie w/bits of funny portions thrown in, yet one can relate the story to the current economic situation.

    - "Blind Side" - Finally saw this. This i must say is a pretty good (based on a true story) movie. Good story, good acting. Overall, one of those very inspirational wholesome family movie w/a touch of comedy thrown in.

True Legend, another film created by the masters of Matrix kung Fu effects coordinator:)!

It may not be as original as the fall away dodging of bullets in variable sequential shots but it must be good from a choreography angle:cool:!

    Saw these recently..

    ..just saw these recently:

    - "Shutter Island" - A mesmerizing film & will keep you interested, with good plot and great acting, throughout. They gave clues to the ending throughout most of the film, but most likely one won't find out what really happened til the end.

    - "Cop Out" - Comedy film with average storyline (tons of profanity).

    - "From Paris with Love" - Typical popcorn type movie with some sprinkle of James-bond/MacGyver type of action. Story is not there but will only keep you interested with the action and special fx sequences.

    - "The Wolfman" - Story didn't keep me interested. Average movie at best.

    - "Valentine's Day" - Another romantic comedy movie. Good family type story.
