I m a beginner who used to play tennis. Just switched to badminton about 3 months ago. I want to buy a racket(Yonex) but too many choices available in the market. Please help me......:)

I am a soft hitter and love to play drop shots. I want a racket that give me more power as my smashes were lousy

    1. Carbonex/Armotec/Nano speed or muscle power?

    2. Stiff or flexible?

    3. Oval or Iso?

    4. Tension?

    Thanks in advance

IF you just started badminton for about 3 months only (no previous experience at all), my recommendation is to forget your 4 questions.
Get an entry/medium range racket (like MusclePower 22,44 or equivalent)
Play with it for a year or 2 and then slowly progress from there.
Don't spend too much on racket at this very stage. Rather get a pair of GOOD shoes, and if you really want to get serious and progress fast, get a part time coach (plenty in Malaysia). It will make you to ENJOY this game more. Then later stage only upgrade your rackets.
Just my personal advice. It s a free world.

Ugly truth. But i agree with tckang.

Get a good shoe first. Try Bg66 with 22 or 23 lbs.

Yeah. MP29 is a solid racket. Suggest to use BG65 @22-24lbs (Most forgiving string)
MP22 is also solid. Used to use it for a long time before this. (This there is a newer color scheme one now for this model)

For the price the apacs tantrum 200/300 is a great all round racket, the lethal 60/70 is a good head heavy racket which will give you a bit more power. Both can be found for under $100 on ebay.
