The National Championships will feature the top British players in what will be their first of a trio of elite events in the UK. Followed by the All England Championships in March and the European Championships, April 14 – 18 – Manchester M.E.N Arena, the Nationals will be the first step towards this year’s 2012 Olympic preparation. Reigning Champion Rajiv Ouseph will look to record a third back-to-back men’s singles victory whilst Olympic silver medallist Nathan Robertson will again look to progress his partnership with Jenny Wallwork in the mixed doubles.

methinks, for clarity, the thread title should be renamed to "UK/ENG National Badminton Championships"..or is this for the European National Badminton Championships??..

Do you really want 20 threads for posting results and a few comments? :p
I was going to start a thread for all national championships around this time of year but then saw this one already had been created. Danish, Swedish, English and probably plenty of others will be held this coming weekend.

..ehm, the U.S. National Badminton Championships and the Australia Senior National Badminton Championships will be held this coming April.
Should we lump 'em all up in this thread as well??..

    '8000+!' = sorry ?
the ticket price for the whole week is 159€ and if you are a member in your federation of badminton (BWF) is 139€ and you can still get the less price but hurry up it's almost sold-out, if you want general public ticket in the best low level for only one day it's : monday:11€-t:15€-w:18€-t:21€-f:27€-s:32€-sunday:35€. i know but ... it's WC men :)
    have a look here : www.badminton2010.com/?lang=en / see you around !

:D I meant for Caen/ national championships? Dutch national championships set a new gate receipt record but in my opinion only because they charged €10 every day, from friday to sunday. From what I've read there were not many visitors ... (certainly not 8000 over here)
