Hey guys from Singapore, Which type of Yonex Shuttlecock is lasting and of the Cheaper range? How much and where do you guys normally get from?
Cheap thing no good things especially branded stuffs....hahah...i think more budget friendly would be AS10 range
^Agreed. I'd just go for the higher RSL or Aeroplane shuttlecocks ._. Most are just as good as the Yonex ones if not better at a lower price. (if you even think they are THAT good)
AS10 still isnt tat good in the form of durability... ever tried RCL? RCL No.1 price is below Yonex AS30 yet can fight it with durability and hitting feel... other than No.1 there is Titanium... which is cheaper than No.1 and yet still maintain high durability... most of the time lasted almost 2 games... i saw many s'poreans come into JB Honly to stock up... they hv quite a number of choices over there and lowest price in JB i can say... anyway there is no Titanium or No.1 in Johor... u can get from me if u wan... like wat hola4 and bluecar did... http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71040&page=6
you can try sealion gold or platinum which you can get from queensway shopping centre at the newlink sports shop on 2nd floor. Or smash sports in simei mrt 2nd floor as well.
If you have to get yonex, my bet would be AS-05 (not AC-05). See http://www.badminton-network.com/badminton-article/content/Shuttlecock-Review/47.html
For yonex i rec AS40 and AS50 to be good. Yonex shuttle is never cheap. Value for money can try RCL as above mentioned, Fleet Gold also not bad. My friend find RCL abit soft but the durability is top notch. Feather don break after 2.5 game, just that the shuttle become slower and slower.
i am using Yomex mavis 2000 , although it is expensive, but it really works well you can check out : http://www.sourcingmap.com/6pcs-white-goose-feather-shuttlecocks-badminton-p-55896.html http://cgi.ebay.com/Yonex-Mavis-200...=ViewItem&pt=AU_Badminton&hash=item1e5a983860
In Sg....for a budget of $24, the best i can get is RSL No 1....with the same amt of money, convert to RM, i can find alot more and better quality shuttles in JB....anyway, $25 is my range for getting shuttles at good quality....
hmm... is it me or do you post tis somewhere else b4? and I replied b4... anyway... you can try RCL Titanium which is RM56 or RCL No.1 which is RM65... within the racge of $24 to $28 ... and btw... RSL No.1 is onli around RM50 here... $24 is a bit expensive...
