I just got my Lethal 70 today (2nd hand racket, but its condition is almost new) from another BCer. The BCer claimed he bought it at 10 Jan and only did one training session before he sold to me.:)

It is 4UG2 with Bg85 23lbs. Unfortunately my Lethal 70 crashed with my friend's AT900P after 45mins playing. The AT900P has 0 damage, but my Lethal 70 3 o'clock spot break off. :(:(:(

How come? I thought Lethal 70 can sustain up to 45lbs. I claim that crash is not very serious, since my friend's AT900P has no paint chip.

Is it possible to do a claim like this case

What exactly does "spot break off" mean? Do you mean a paint chip or some of the carbon fiber?

Also remember that the angle of impact is a big factor in whether a racket gets damaged or not. Also keep in mind that clashes are not usually covered by warranty.

Then it really does matter which part of the frame was hit. If you hit the flat outer side it has less strength in that direction than the thinner side.

You can always ask Apacs whether they will replace it, doesn't hurt to ask anyway, all they can say is no and you're no worse off.

Ya, I had a quick check. The frame broke at the weakest location (flat outer side). What a bad day for me :(

I definitely will get another one. But not now, i need to save $$ first. :D

*My friend tried it for some minutes and now he is trying to get one also. :p:p

It was in perfect condition when I sold it. I sold all 3 of Lethal 70 racquets in perfect condition. I bought it on the 10th Dec and used his for one session (about 2 games, maybe less), I can assure everyone that the racquet never got dropped, knocked or experienced any kind of shock at all.

I was saddened to hear the racquet got damaged...

no racket manufacturer will warranty damages caused by clashes.

but like what druss mentioned, no harm trying tho.
