Hi! I am a member of a bi-weekly badminton group of players who meet every month for a ore competitive event (roun-robin event). The players are A and B class players in their 40s. We're sort of getting bored with the same old tournament play every month. Anyone have suggestions for competitive activities that can take place over 2 hours in the same evening. We all work the next morning...snif..This ? is for organized club play participants. All suggestions appreciated at this time. Thanks a million, Dan
Hi Dan What we have is a weekly team ligue, each teams consist of 4 guys and 2 girls we play 3MS, 1WS, 1WD, 3MD and 3XD, 2 of 3 match, every player plays in 3 different games. It takes around 2.5 to 3 hours with 2 courts to play all the matches. We have 6 teams so that every week we play a different team and even if you play the same team, the combinations can be different. Naturally this is just a summary and there is other rules that exist. But it an idea and you can adapt this to the number of courts, players and time you have. Norm
