Well all i can say is if someone buys that then he deserves the money. Buyers should always research items then intend on purchasing especialy things on ebay. :)

    hehe, quite the joker there..

What I feel is lacking on ebay-pages is the ability to discuss the item. Oftentimes I want to make a post saying something like: "Sucker.. that racquet costs $60 over at Mike's racquetshop and you just placed a bid at $73!"

Hmm, *not* saying that is almost the same fun anyway.. :)

ebay=greatest site to rip ppl off. sadly to say, I remember a lot of my friends back in college use to run "small business" on ebay. I think you can post comments or questions on the auctioned item right? or maybe that's another auction site. o well. buyers beware. :D

That was what I intended to do too when I know some sellers are trying to rip people off.

Yet, come to think about it, ebay will not provide such a feature, in order to protect the sellers, remember, ebay makes money from the sellers but not the buyers.

I think ebay did Nothing Wrong to block ppl put comments.

Think about this, if u and someone else happen to sell the same stuff (say, brand new rackets, same model). There will be a little bit "competition" invloved. If ppl can freely post up comments, imagine what u will think when ur "competitor" post something on ur item, like "Don't buy from this guy, his racket is a fake one, my friend got ripped off, etc". Since there's no guarantee whether buyer/seller can be honest, therefore, there will be a "word war" all over the place in ebay if comments can be freely posted.

Also, seller can be freely ask for whatever price he/she likes. It's the buyers' responsibility to judge whether it would be a good deal or not. It's the same, say if we buy something from local stores, we should compare the price /quality before spending $$$. If happened to be, us, the buyer made the wrong decision, too bad. I don't think any store owners will allow u "freely" put ur comments on their store windows, if u just happen to overpay something.

So, same thing for online shopping.

Is that why the bid is still zero? I wonder if anyone can file a complain against this seller since he is also selling many other items, which I wonder if they are worthy as they are advertised.

    Re: Re: People in Ebay

What's the point to post a complain???

The seller paid to post his ad. Yeah, to us, who knows the value of items, the ads seems pointless. However, I believe anyone has the rights to charge whatever he/she like to charge.

Once again, it's the BUYER's responsibility to verify whether it's a good deal or not. If anyone just happen to be foolish enough to spend $$$ before getting any common sense, it's surely not the seller's fault.

Nobody forces the buyers to bid, and the seller has the right to put up whatever amount he/she likes to ask (once he/she pays ebay).

LB's right. it is a free market afterall. the best complaint that the seller will get is that no one will buy/bid his racket. perhaps then he will come back with a more reasonable price.

Actually, if that racket is a MF series, $50 is not too bad. This person just kinda make an unbelieveable story about the original price. Is he/she marketing major something? :D

he said he purchased it for $300, but didn't say from where... i'm sure there's some currency out there where it's worth 300 of something...

Btw, they are selling Iso62MF at sportcheck for $40 CDN right now in canada... maybe i'll grab one as a spare for friends or sell on it on ebay for $300 US ;)
