ArcSaber 8 DX

Can anyone compare the Arc8DX with the Arcsaber Z Slash? I curreny am using the 8DX and I like the results I'm getting but not the strings (BG68Ti) I like to smash and drop since I am an offensive player so I am wondering which is a better smasher. And what strings would you recommend? BG68Ti are good strings but I lose the feeling if I don't play and it feels flat...

I play somewhat similar, and I have mine strung with bg85, which gives me great results. Offers a good deal of power, while still having the delicate touch to do those deceptive drop shots

Am using the Arc8DX, strung @ 26/28 #s. Had it strung with BG80, then BG85, and now NBG98 and that's what I'm sticking with. Nice control, powerful, holds the tension well and nice sound

NBG-98 isn't too durable though for the price. what do you think?

I charge 30$ for stringing the NBG98(string included). BG85 and BG80 @ 25$(strings included). So far the tension's holding and no broken string yet after 14 hours of semi-competitive playing.

that's relatively cheap (i.e. $30 is not much different to $25). stringers here charge $15 for labor if you BYO strings. that seems to be the standard price, i've not heard anyone doing it for cheaper. I can get NBG98 at $14 each. Making it a total of $29 if i go that route.

Normal strings I get for around $5. So stringing BG80 would be around $20

I guess it's only "inexpensive" when you can string yourself; since you don't have to pay inflated prices for labor.

Hey guys, I am currently using Ti 10 (Purple). Feeling that it is a bit too light for me, just wondering how much different would that be between Ti 10 and Arc 8DX.

At the moment LCW is doing some testing on the ARC 8DX. If he finds it suitable for him...he may use it in the next tournament.

I am using Arc8DX and NS9900 right now, gotta love this Arc8DX racket!! Arc8DX is very powerful smash racket, great control, defense, and quick to move around. Very even balance (all around type of racket), feel very nice, easy to play with, much quicker swing compare to Arc10 and of course stiffer too. I like this Arc8DX the most in all Arcsaber series.

Just want to ask did you get it in NZ or did you get it from overseas? Coz it seems Australia doesn't have the ARC 8DX in stock.

AS coded 8DX's will be available next week, apparently. I'm guessing price will be around AUD205 or thereabouts.

I bought the racket from HK. Racket in NZ here too expensive, will cost at $300+ for all high end Yonex. Arc8DX not available in NZ yet.

Thx NZ2010, that is so true that the rackets here in Sydney are damn expensive. ToT
I may get one when I am back to hk.

I am currently using Ti 10 (purple) and feeling that the shot is not very solid, and I hope Arc 8DX can give me a more powerful and solid hitting feel.
