    Hi,
sorry for asking a simple question regarding stance.

In a ready position after returning to center , should my racquet foot in front or behind?

Is this stance different between single and double?

    Thanks in advance.

In most situations, the ready position should have your racket foot slightly ahead.

    More information: the ready position.

when my opponent is about to smash, i stand racketfoot forward only maybe 6inches, ready to move side/side.
when my opponent can only lift or drop, my racketfoot forward by almost a stride, to help me move front/back
