Sorry....more racquet details here http://www.blackknight.ca/products.php?id=182 The new Feather XL combines an extra long frame with superlight carbon materials. Its light weight means faster acceleration - whether moving the racquet into position or striking the shuttlecock. Yet the carefully matched weight, flex and length allows the Feather XL to deliver the power of a heavier racquet. String : sold unstrung Recommended Tension : 18-24 lbs Total Length : 68 cm Rigidity Index : 82 Avg. Frame Weight : 75 g String Area : 348 cm2 uperLight Black Knight’s SuperLight series of racquets are built to accelerate and to react faster for you. With superlight nano carbon materials and a finely tuned distribution of weight and flex, these racquets seem to react faster than your thoughts, yet still deliver the power of much heavier racquets. "Take the shuttle early" is a key to success in badminton - early means higher, often turning defense into attack; early means sooner which leaves an opponent unprepared and out of position; early means the faster reaction time and acceleration of a Black Knight SuperLight racquet.
Not going to close it yet...the buyer is "challenging" the authenticity of the racquet. I have offered a full refund if he still thinks it's is not authentic. Does anyone know how we can tell for sure? Thanks
Black Knight isn't a large enough brand to be making fakes of, and its especially difficult to make fakes of the lighter rackets. Fakes actually tend to be heavier in my experience.
Bought it from another board member in Dec. The buyer has stated "The reason is that the weight is different and also it's a full centemeter longer than the listed price, the words super light on the top is lined up differently than the image on the website, infact it's different from both sides futhermore the bag you have has a green strip and a yellow strip, one of the top and one on the bottom of the word supperlight, it's backwards compared to mine and the one i found online. it might be because when i looked inside it reads one reads made in china and the other is made in taiwan" I has stated to the buyer: "Fair enough, again I don't mind giving you a full refund. That being said differences in appearance and actual weight are common when dealing with two different factories and generations of equipment." The buyer has advised me that he is in the process of contact BK..so I wait.
Mmmm that sucks. You should probably alert the guy you bought it from and maybe see where the source of the problem is if it is in fact a fake.
