what about a even more superzoooom at 840mm by Olympus http://www.dpreview.com/news/1002/10020207olysp800uzsp600uz.asp Now you can shoot the moon face very at ease at anytime.
i'm just waiting for the day when P&S cameras finally feature below 20mm zoom or super zoom lenses..of course, if that were to happen, the price will turn me away Btw, amazon.com has put the Finepix HS10 for pre-order purchase: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0035WTVZA...e=380333&creativeASIN=B0035WTVZA&linkCode=asn
us$500 for prosumer equipment of this class is very cheap already, especially compared to the price of canon/nikon pro lenses.
i own one of this H10 since couple months ago, but i am no photographer expert.. nor even as intermediate. Most of the time, i use H10 with tripod just to video-shooting some badminton games. I highly appreciate if someone could step-by-step teach me few intermediate techniques to use this Fujifilm H10: 1. Blurry effect at someone background (Potrait & Potrait Enhancer modes don't really make the background blur) 2. Photo taking during night time in the mountain (low light situation) -- I tried Night, Sunset, Night Tripod modes... without flashlight (i have no idea how to manually set the flashlight according to my need) but the result is black-shadowed people and bit blur of moon. Should i set manually set up the ISO (to which level?), Exposure mode, AF, and so on? There was once i tried to take continues photo (continues shooting mode, ISO 200/400) upto 7 pics at once of some badminton player do jump smash. All the 7 photos were blurred unlike on H10 advertisement. Thank you for any helps.
