off topic:
..3 months at ABC (or any other clubs) for now should be fine while you (and others) wait for the opening..So, hopefully they'll have the opening by the time your ABC membership expires..
Abt the price deal, i talked to the front desk personnel and i was told the 3 months/$100 is the current special price/promotion. And that $110/3 months can be applied at any time, just don't know when..Last edited by ctjcad; 10-24-2010 at 02:43 AM.

IT looks sooooo nice!!! I'm so jealous, we have nothing like that here in Davis/Sacramento (Sacramento/Yolo county). I wish one of those big gyms like Bintang, SGVBC, BBC etc would expand up here instead of inundating the Bay Area/Orange County areas. I've already tried talking to the head of BBC, maybe someone with clout down there (*cough* Dink *cough*) could convince SGVBC or Bintang to open one here in Sac/Davis.

They should make one a little closer to Long Beach, like in Cerritos or something because most of us don't have the money to drive 30 mins back and forth to play badminton in such a nice place...

This may be a stupid question but I was wondering if we need badminton shoes to play there? Because me and my friends are waiting for our shoes and they won't come in until next week...

shoes or no shoes?
The old rule in SG1 was that any NON-YONEX matted courts you can use whatever shoes you want. But if you want to go on the pro Yonex green matted area to play you need badminton shoes. Though in SG1, nobody really enforces that rule. The matts get ultra tortured and flattened which kills me but oh wellz. I really think they should have a stand with a large post (16 by 22) that says badminton shoes only area. So ignorant people won't just go on and do wutever.
Pisses me off when neubs go on with some nike or addidas basketball shoes and tear it up in there.
