@easy tiger
What is the stiffness of the LN racket in comparison to the AT900t ?

Through manual flexing it seems marginally less stiff than the 900T, but out on court it seems stiffer. I think that's because it's more even balanced so has less head weight.

It's not a complete shocker, it's just that against the best looking rackets out there, she comes up a bit short.
I'm horrified that I don't really care.

Tiger, maybe you, or someone else can explain this to me. I really don't get this stuff that some racquets are for doubles and some for singles. Why?
I hardly ever play singles, frankly I'm too old for singles and don't have the speed, but I can play doubles fine with a Z slash, and yet I keep reading that it isnt good for doubles. What's the theory behind that?

Oh and from the pics, your new racquet looks fine to me, nice bright cheerful colors. I like it well enough, but if you're not impressed, well, designs and colors are pretty secondary anyway, it's the performance that counts.

I think it's just a 'gap between theory and reality' thing, Grotius, perpetuated by marketing and the need to pay single's players wages.

I'm glad you have found an intermediate racket to suit your intermediate skills mate. This just goes to show that you have to pick a racket that suits your badminton skills and not buy the top-of-the-range ones, because they may just be a little too stiff for you

Yeah unlike you I'm not a 'pro' that likes stiff ones.

[Actually all the top end rackets I have are less stiff than the 100C, but don't let that get in the way of a good story!]
