I have been to the shops mentioned in the above posts. :D

Which part of Taipei will u stay at? Is that anything in particular u wish to buy?

If u want a bit of everything, you can visit 捷利 (near Shilin night market) or 上展. For mainly yonex stuff, u can go to the yonex stores松山 (near Taipei 101) or 龍騰虎躍 (near National Taiwan University)

Selling prices are usually 30% off the price tags but u should check with the staff.

The Yonex TW apparels and bags are fairly close to JP quality imho but prices are highly than in Singapore/Malaysia. There are often yonex off-season apparels on sale at 50% off. Some stuffs eg Supergraps are made in Taiwan and cheaper than Singapore/Malaysia.

ps I did not try the stringing in Taipei as its more expensive than in Singapore. If you intend to string your rackets in Taipei, pls read bluejeff's comments with regards to stringing at 捷利

He started carrying the newest BR309 C bag since last September or October. A MAS BC member mentioned this bag is roughly RM200.00 in your country. An online store in Indonesia, kedaiangkasa, quoted me USD40 for this bag. Good luck. Refer to this thread.

Sorry to re-open this thread, But are the price cheaper in taiwan then USA for a yonex (arcsaber 11) from an authorized dealer? If yes, do you have any idea for the price (in us $$$)?

    Thanks.
