When I was competing I used to play all 3 in high school and college, depended on who we were playing and what strong players they had in each category. Now I only play mens and mixed doubles.
all 3 but in the leagues i play in there isnt many mixed games only in tournaments which is a bummer as its my favourite
doubles and mixed is the only way for me. I'm too aggressive in my singles play and i leave myself open in my smashes, plus i have crappy footwork.
Mixed Doubles and Doubles !! But I do KNOW to play singles The results show out easily.... Lost U19 Singles in the quarters... but turned out to win Silver Medal for U19BD, in Qatar Open 2010.
Doubles, I'm simply too old for singles. I played singles last night as it happens, one of the group caught a shuttle in her eye and had to be driven to the hospital. I can do about ten minutes solid play, after that I'm just useless. Besides I'm past the age where I enjoy one on one confrontation, I prefer the atmosphere of doubles.
I usually play singles but last year i started to play doubles too for team reasons: i like doubles, expecially when i've a good team mate Singles and doubles are really different worlds, even now i continue to slighly prefer singles matches.
I play both dependent on where I am playing. I find singles more satisfying and doubles (both MD and XD) more challenging.
