This is one interesting forum. ;)
Well, to sum myself in a few sentences: I am from Long Beach California and have played badminton for abit(those backyard badminton you would play at a party or something similar). Now I have finally decided to start taking badminton more seriously.

I hope to make some friends, expand my knowledge of badminton, learn many new things from everyone and have fun on this forum. :)

There's nothing wrong with backyard badminton, is there?;)

But congratulations on taking a more serious interest in the sport!
Beware, playing can be addictive. Other side effects may include: more friends, better fitness and the abilitiy to speak-in-tongues (by which I mean pronounce international players' names flawlessly :p)

    Enjoy yourself!!

This needs to be emphasized, BADMINTON CAN BE EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE, AND CAN LEAD YOU TO NOT BEING ABLE TO CONCENTRATE ON SCHOOL/UNVERSITY/YOUR JOB and instead, leaves you thinking about your next game of badminton :D
P.s I am not shouting, just emphasizing

sorry ctjcad, didn't see your post.
I think this forum is very unique compare to the other forums I saw.
I plan to attend CSULB when I graduate high school this june so maybe I can play some badminton there.
