Hi , what is the thickest gauge badminton string you can buy , also what is the advantage of thinner strings .. thanks everyone !

Does anyone else found that they have more power with thicker strings when it is strung at 21-23lbs , or is it just me

off hand carlton has durapulse 0.74 mm but i swear iv seen 0.78 somewhere

i personally use thinner strings for more power but havnt experimented much (i just know i hate bg65 which is pretty thick imo)

I don't like thicker strings either but they do last longer. Remember that they'll also lose tension unless you really prestretch them.

klipper USA has badminton strings that are .80mm thick, they sent me some when i ordered my stringing machine from them. thats the thickest that ive seen so i don't know if there's any badminton strings thicker than .80mm id imagin it would be a pain to string some racquets with anything thicker.
