Uber Cup: HKG and INA - walk in the park, JPN should win handily (in fact, they just took the 3rd point), KOR with well-balanced singles and doubles departments will win even against a full-strength THA.

Thomas Cup: Except for SRI v CAM which is meaningless, the other ties determine the top and second position in their respective groups, which will form the shape of the quarterfinals.
    KOR has already beaten JPN.
INA should beat VIE with more to spare.
TPE's doubles should see them through.
IND v THA should be a plum tie if THA is at full strength. As it is, IND should roll over the host.

KOR Men's team wins over JPN with perfect score, 5-0. Only Japan second MD delivered some resistance to Korean Ko/Yoo.

Tanongsak duly delivers against IND. I expect IND to be stronger in the rest of the matches, but let's see ...

Never underestimate the inconsistency of Indian players. More so, when they are playing an important match:D:D
Thailand can defeat India even when they are missing Ponsana et al.:crying:

Yeah, a THA pair I have not even heard of before defeated the IND No 1 pair. They're still favourites to take the next 3, but can't afford any more slip-ups.

The match between IND and THA is now into the last tie....2-2. IND will win 3-2 unless the Thai youngster pulls an incredible upset.

Gurusaidutt leads 11-4 now, so it looks like will be INA v THA side by side on court tomorrow

Interesting line-up for Team INA in the second group match with Maria Kristin Yulianti being rested and Aprilia Yuswandari and Anneke Feinya Agustine getting a chance to play.

Likewise, Markis Kido/Alvent Yulianto Chandra are being prepared to tackle tougher oppositions starting from the possible match against THA tomorrow and possibly JPN's MD1 pair of Kenta Kazuno/Kenichi Hayakawa on Friday.

India made a heavy weather of defeating Thailand (altough once both MS1 and MD1 were lost, I had given hope) thanks to younger players.
So if INA defeats VIE, do India have a chance of qualifying for next round??

IND vs VIE in the QF (unless VIE can beat INA today). It's an interesting tie. I think the edge goes to IND, but they were a bit unconvincing today, so VIE could capitalise.

As for THA vs INA, it's almost a walkover.
