What kind of packaging do u guys use when shipping/sending rackets off to a buyer? And uh... do u jus goto the post office? or do u use UPS/Purolator etc etc?
i have seen two different types of packaging. most i have seen are pretty good quality cardboard boxes that is a bit larger than the racket. those looks pretty safe. the least packing i have seen are just wrapping paper over the racket. that came from HK and the racket arrived flawless. i am not sure if i was lucky. i think it is better to do it the safe side and use good packaging, and use insurance as well. and supposedly Fedex ground is a horrible carrier.
no cover. wrapping paper, some padding, and then racket. and then that thing flew across the pacific. i guess being a CN helps but probably not that much.
so u didn't even get a cover with that racket? Well i guess u dont need one anyways wow... hard to imagine that thing survive the long ride...
Thought I'd just add onto this thread, I was wondering what's a cheap and good courier for shipping from Canada to US?? for post canada there's: Xpresspost - USA Purolator International Expedited Parcel Small Packets Has anyone used these? or any other courier that's cheap and acceptable service? (like they dont break or lose anything)
Purolator blows too...I shipped a stereo...got crushed...had it insured...but they refused to pay me since it wasn't in original packaging...even though the lady said just pack it adequately ( no mention of original box)....But I think this rule only applies to electronics A stereo is probably sturdier than a racquet and look what they did to it... But that's my experience
