then go for ultimate
however, just a warning, I HATE ultimate
it is too tacky for me and it feels like it is going to rip my skin
but if you have sweaty hand, then go for it (it is the best sweat absorbent grip in RKEP line)
let's see..
I have powermaster and karakal PU super right now on my rackets
powermaster on my PP trinity pro
while karakal PU on my MX80 (previously I used powermaster, but I'm out of stock of powermaster, so I use my karakal PU)
RKEP powermaster VS karakal PU super
spongy-ness = powermaster > PU super
tacky-ness = powermaster = PU super (powermaster is slightly tackier)
price = powermaster > PU super
sweat absorbent = I don't have sweaty hands..
so yeah, powermaster wins in every category (of course this is my opinion, YMMV)
I like how karakal PU super is smooth and not that tacky. it feels nice on hand (compared to ultimate)
powermaster has texture which feels nice too, it feels that you have better grip over your racket
I will try RKEP king grip when Eric stock it. maybe this one is better than other RKEP grip (since it is more expensive)Last edited by Avenger; 04-20-2012 at 07:12 AM.

Yes I remeber it as more spongy than powermster.
Elastic, meaning the grip would be able to stretch a lot if you very pulling it tight.

Can't remember how elastic the Karakal PU is, but King is more elastic than POWERMASTER and way more elastic than ULTIMATE.
As a POWERMASTER fan I too find that the ULTIMATE is not elastic enough, but and the other hand I felt King was way to spongy and elastic for my linking.

Seriously i've tried rkep ultimate, and i dun think it's an equivalent to karakal super-pu....i've sweaty hands coupled with the hot and humid climate here, i really got serious sweat problem....for karakal SPU, i could use the racquet continously for the whole session while using rkep ultimate, i gotta switch racquet every alternate game as the grip is getting too slippery...it's definitely not as sweat absorbent....though it feels tacky in nature when dry, but once it's wet, it's totally slippery....thats my honest opinion

Yes porky, I got some ultimates thinking they could replace karakal PU super but they dont even come close. Powermaster didnt do it for me either.
Luckily I got loads of g08 at the same time.

I am currently using G09 Elites. Anyone used G11 wet tapes before? How does it compare against the elites?

i use wet tape but i havent used elites before. prior to this i used to just use karakal pu.
i use the wet tape over the powermaster because it tackier but not as tacky as karakal or ultimates. good balance and the best part, dries very fast. just cover your towel around it between sets and its dry.

Just got some G09 Elites from Eric recently, so I stuck a yellow one on my AT900P, upside down as usual. First thing I notice when gripping it is that yes, only one side is tacky so it's just a bit harder to wrap it upside down since it won't stick to the standard grip. No major problems though. I put on the included grip tape just to see what all the gripes were about and I didn't find any problems with it personally.
Moving onto the grip performance itself, I really like this grip. Cheaper and seemingly better than my previous grips, Yonex Super Grap and Li-Ning GP101. I usually prefer drier feeling grips, but this one felt very comfortable and easy to get used to.
