This is what I mean, so the tape is only on grip... you can still see 1mm of white grip exposed above the tape.

We currently do not sell gormmets. But we purchased some for daily string work. I could share you some if you wished. As there are a lot of kinds of grommets: thin: short med long, wide: short, med, long; twin that you need to contact with me for the details type you wished.

i figured, for $3 and 20 meters, it should last around 100 rackets. $0.03 per grip is nothing.

Kwun let us know how the finishing tape turns out from MBS, I would definitely pay $3 for that roll if it turns out to be good. When did you order it? Usually takes like 2 weeks to ship to CA.

If you order it from Kwun who gets it from MBS, it's likely the shipping cost will be more then the actual product which is $3. MBS doesn't charge shipping or tax so you can just pay $2.95 flat. Getting it through Kwun would be much more expensive. I don't think there was anywhere on MBS where it says shipping to London isn't allowed or costs extra.

Ok sounds good. Will order. Also Maklike, is this tape definitely the same stuff available from any hardware store? I thought it would be specially designed for grips.

there are hundreds of different type of electrical tapes. what you can get there is different than what i can get it. from my previous experience, most electrical tape are really crap for this purposes. but you might be able to find one that works. but why have to experiment when you can just pay $3 and for sure know that you get one that works?

Exactly. Truth be told I didn't realise MBS ship to the UK. Ordering some now.

MBS definately ship to the UK. I have ordered string sets and this tape, which does the job perfectly, a couple of times from MBS with no problems

You guys are insane. You'd probably buy badminton branded toilet paper.

NITTO tape is all that the 'finishing' tape is. It's exactly the same stuff, AND it's available down the road at your local hardware store, AND it's cheaper AND it's available in heaps of different colours.
