Probably, but I didn't like G11 so put it under karakal pu super for my favoured feeling on the top I've now got like 10 half used grips of different size and colour etc and still not sure I'm happy...

There is no such thing as "light blue" G09. It's bl00dy lavender (was once described as light blue for the G09L, hence I have half a box of lavender grips)

    This is lavender.

What Eric has is light blue.
Although he calls it lavender... :headscratch:

The grip is practically that colour (a little lighter). If you want to call it something else, you can call it thistle or mauve. But in no case is it any shade of blue . I assume he uses the factory provided colour names(?).

I did put up a comparison before and expecting the G10 light blue to be close to the right:
(I should take another pic of the G09 here, doesn't quite look the same as when I'm holding it up against the screen right now because of reflection, etc.)

Pantone 270C looks reasonably close right now or 271C ... I guess those are in the twilight zone of purple (violet) going into blue (but nothing I would ever call light blue) .

I'll have to check if I have that "lavender" grip at home. Meanwhile this is Eric's listing photo, looks light blue to me.

^ wow, I like that water blue!

as luck would have it, having those two pics back to back makes it easier to compare G09 and G10.

Why do you think I bought them in the first place ? (really quite different from it irl, perhaps caused by the flash) But yeah that water blue G10 is awesome and what I have been waiting for

There are many shades of lavender in the world of colors, so just to illustrated the basic lavender:

The G09 still looks closest to the pantone 270(C) imo

Mark A (and others), after reading about your good experiences with the Ultimate grip, I decided to purchase a few. My previous grips were Karakal (I still have three left actually). Initial experience with the Ultimate was good. It was as good, if not better than the Karakal in terms of tackiness and non-slip. I was sold. However, now that the weather has warmed up, I am sweating more and noticing much more slip.

There appear to be only five colours available currently - black, white, red, blue, grey. I have mostly blues and greys left. I didn't realise different colours would have different feel/tackiness to them - that's a bit odd and sounds like sub-optimal quality control to me. Anyway, which colours have the best tackiness in your experience?

Blue - by a MILE. The white is almost as good early on, but the tack dwindles very quickly (as does the colour, actually).

If you need more tack, get hold of some resin - it's very cheap and improve the situation dramtically.

That's a pity, as I've been using a couple of blues and they have been a little disappointing. I'm going to try out my Yellow Karakals today and see if they are actually better. I do want to like the Ultimates because they are much cheaper, but I suspect I initially liked them only because I used them during the cool season and I wasn't sweating much anyway.

Ok, I've tried blue and pink and have green and grey now too. There is a slight difference in tackiness but they are definitely not as tacky as the Artengo grips especially after 1 or 2 sessions. I'm sticking with the Artengo ones - more expensive but feels better imo.

The Ultimate isn't very tacky to begin with (compared to the RKEP Elite overgrips).

No kidding... I can't imagine anyone needing any tackier than pink or grey G09. How can you even change grip from forehand to backhand and vice versa during playing?

How is G10? G09 Grey is a bit tacky for me, haven't tried out the G09 white yet. I like Yonex SuperGrab tho', just hope they could last longer.
