Which racket is better in terms of singles and doubles?

yes i know according to dinks review, lethal 50 and tantrum 200 is the only rackets with excellent + ratings, with tantrum 200 slightly above lethal 50. But my question is which is a better racket, lethal 70 or tantrum 300?
    thank you fellow bcers

There is no better or best racket in the world, only better racket that suits to u based on ur skill level, so i think no one can answer ur question which is better.

Personally, i tried L70 (4U) and T300 (3U), i prefer L70, i feel it is more solid. And due to the L70 i tried is 4U, it is very gd in double in terms of smashing power and oso quite fast in defence, simply fast and furious beast. :D

what papa said is definitely correct

if you have the power, you can use a 3u lethal for doubles too
but personally, i feel that lethals are more for singles play and tantrum is doubles
lethals are more head heavy than tantrum

it's better for you to try the racket yourself
then you will know which will suit you better

I read that T200 is the same as T300. Am using T200 and have it strung with BG80 @ 27 lbs. It's my go to racket now! Love it so much! Am an attacking-minded player and this racket just does its job very very well! Looks like I might get myself another Tantrum 200/300 soon! My NS9900 is sitting in the corner collecting dust at the moment! Way to go T200...!!

Yeah. Apacs does very good job for developing their own series racket and keep the price reasonably. :p

Maybe you can try to get Tantrum 300 for your next racket, and gives us a review between T200 and T300. :D

    it really depends
are you able to play doubles with a rather heavy racket?
if yes then you can get the Lethal 70
then you can use L70 for both singles and doubles

    it's just my 2 cents..i have a personal fetish for Lethal =P

I personally prefer the tantrum 300 but maybe that's because my lethal 70 was off spec and head light instead of head heavy....

In that case, just get the T300 for doubles, and put 6-8 inches of electrical tape on the top of the frame to increase bp by 5-10mm when you need to play singles.

Had a t200 and it is a extremely well made and nice looking racket. I had a lighter one but still would not say it is a true doubles racket or a single's racket. Think if you can only afford 1 racket it is a good choice for both. If
down the road you decide to play mostly doubles or singles you may opt for a more specific racket for your choice. I found in a fast game of doubles it was too demanding after the 3rd game. Had to switch to another faster racket that was less demanding. :D

Did you not get a replacement , I think that happened to someone else with the L70 ...off spec with the balance. It cast a doubt if Apacs has any form of Quality control with their racket

Tried the Tantrum 200/300 it is one of the best racket out there. It is quick , powerful, good control and has a great feel to it as well. Shame it is our of stock in the UK and no one would sell. Depend on what level of play you are at , I think this racket is great for both double and singles.
I like the Lethal 70 as well but after a few long games your arm would be as stiff as the racket itself , if you want more power and control in smash than this is the racket.
But I would definitely take the Tantrum 200 for overall attributes.

Having a T2 myself, I would give the advantage to T2. Also, T2 is lighter (85-87g) vs T300 (86-89g). Plus, if you know your spec preference, you can order the T2 exactly in the wt and bp that you like. Whereas T300 will come like a lottery... unless you don't mind... but every g and mm matters a lot when you swing it.

Actually, depending on who you buy the apacs from, you can request a certain weight or balance point (which is what I should have done).
