not realy, rackets made out of metal usualy waste energy so your shots won't be as powerful as a racket made out of graphite. try the ns100/200 good starter rackets made out of graphite
I own a MP7 myself. Re-strung to 20 pounds, BG66, Super Grap. I have yet to test it out on court, but the sound it produces is very interesting. I actually like older-generation racquets, the ones that are slightly heavier then, say, an AT600. If not, I prefer head-heavy. They help loads for wrist strength and whatnot.
I'd actually suggest against most low end yonex rackets. For the money you can get rackets almost as good as the high end ones from other less well known makers like Panda Power, Zelm and Apacs.
I agree with you there, although my MP7 only cost me $27 If I choose to upgrade, though, I'm leaning towards a Victor SW31 or a Yonex Arc7-Both head heavy racquets
The California distributors for Panda Power are on here so do a search. Apacs can be bought from www.apacscanada.com or ebay. I did not realize the MP7 was only $30.... still for $65 you can get an apacs nano 900 which is about 10 times better a racket for twice as much.
Balanced to head-heavy, I mean. I just don't like head light, I can't seem to get enough power nor defense out of those.
so far i've heard nothing but good reviews for the arc7, more so than arc9/arc10. how does the arc7 feel compare to the arc10???
@carrots head light just allows more maneuverability @gundamzaku arc 10 does feel like it give more repulsion and it is stiffer then arc 7
even i use mp7 and have been using it for the past 2 years.. i found it pretty comfortable for power game because of its head weight.. but for net game it really suckss..always tend to lose control of the racquet in close net games.. so i plan to upgrade it and can anyone suggest me a racquet in price range of $40 or less.. at the place where i am staying other available brands are carlton, ashaway and victor..
